Day 01: Arrival

On your arrival at the railway station / airport, you are escorted at the hotel. After a refreshing breakfast / lunch, get set to start your journey in the city of Lord Shiva. Visit the famous Manas Mandir and feel enriched as you get to know Ramayana – the holiest epic of Hinduism. The next stop is at Durga Temple, just a 2-minute walk from here. After a fulfilling visit to Durga Temple, it is time to enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride as you explore old Varanasi. After this ride, you start exploring the maze of narrow twisting alleys in the Old City, on foot. Check out the many small shops and stalls that are bound to fascinate you. Your walk ends at the main Ghat of Varanasi. From here, board a boat to observe the interesting evening flower ceremony in the holy Ganges River, followed by the evening prayer ceremony. Later, head back to the hotel. Stay overnight in Varanasi.

Day 02: Sightseeing

On this day, leave a little early in the morning to enjoy the religious ethos of the city. Enjoy a drive to Assi Ghat, where you can partake in the morning prayers. After the morning prayer, you can enjoy the sunrise boat ride and then head back to the hotel for a scrumptious breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy the drive to BHU (Banaras Hindu University). At BHU, you can visit New Vishwanath (Lord Shiva) Temple, which is also known as Birla Mandir. After visiting BHU and Vishwanath Mandir, enjoy your journey to Sankat Mochan Mandir. After this, enjoy a drive to Bharat Mata Temple – the only Mother India Temple in the country. From here, journey to visit Sarnath, the sacred place where Lord Buddha delivered his first preaching after his enlightenment. You will also visit some more interesting places like Dhamek Stupa and some monasteries. After visiting this site, return to the hotel. You have the rest of the evening to enjoy the culture and sights of Varanasi on your own. Enjoy your overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 03: Varanasi – Bodhgaya (255 km/ 5 Hrs.)

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a relaxing drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival, check in at the hotel and then visit Mahabodhi Temple, the place where Gautama attained supreme knowledge to become Buddha, the enlightened one. Enjoy your overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Day 04: Departure

After a scrumptious breakfast, enjoy the drive to Pret Shila Temple which is about 10 kms from the Ramshila Hill, just below which is the Brahma Kund. Usually, after taking bath in this pond, people perform the ‘Pind Dan’ which involves performing religious rituals and offering donations and charity for the peace of the souls of one’s ancestors. The unique architecture and magnificent sculptures of the popular Ahilya Bai Temple attracts a lot of tourists. After this, head back to Varanasi. Your trip ends in Varanasi. Enjoy your journey to the airport/railway station.
