Experience the bliss and spirituality with a trip to Mathura and Vrindavan. The trip includes a visit to the two sacred small towns associated with Lord Krishna’s birth and childhood. Mathura a small town in the proximity of the National Capital sites on the shores of the River Yamuna. It is here Lord Krishna was born. Adorning the town are several temples and ghats. The other town in the itinerary is also associated with Lord Krishna’s childhood and teen fables. Here also most of the temples are dedicated to lord Krishna and his lover Radha. The two must visit temples are the Banke Bihari Temple and Radha Temple. These two towns as per the Hindu mythology are also vital pilgrimage sites, depicting the Lord Krishna’s several interesting anecdotes of life. Both the towns are located on the shores of the River Yamuna peppered with many sacred ghats and temples. Things to do in Mathura Vrindavan Tour

Mathura and Vrindavan are both the town dedicated to Lord Krishna featuring interesting stories about his birth and childhood. Explore several temples and sacred ghats along the river Yamuna. Must visit the temple is the Bake Bihari temple and Radha temple in Vrindavan. The best time to visit is during the Holi celebration. The celebration is world famous and people from across the globe visit the place to experience it.

Day 01: Delhi – Mathura

Your trip begins from Delhi, which is not that far as it takes around 3 hours to reach. The place carries historic and religious significance in and around, there are plenty of holy sites to start off from. The temples are in abundance and your visitation will be mostly to them. The Dwarkadish temple holds an interesting architecture in the area; there is another small town called the Radha Kund; The Gita Mandir is called so because the whole of Gita (the sacred book of the Hindus) has been inscribed on the walls of the temple; Sri Krishna Janma Bhumi is another site to visit, it is the place where Lord Krishna was born; and also Lord Krishna’s rest place after his triumph over the tyrant Kansa is the Vishram Ghat. You can visit other temples too, keeping in mind the time limit. After a long day of full exploration, you can go to the hotel to retire.

Day 02: Mathura – Vrindavan

Next day, you leave for Vrindraven, a nearby town after breakfast. It is in Vrindavan, that Lord Krishna spent his childhood days and his stories of eternal love for Radha grew here. There are numerous temples dedicated to Radha-Krishna love events. The Banke Bihari Temple is a popular shrine among the believers. There is an old temple called the Madan Mohan Temple. Other temples are the Prem Mandir, ISKCON temple, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, Sri Radha Raman Mandir and more. After a long day, you return to the hotel and take a rest.

Day 03: Mathura – Delhi

This morning, after a hearty breakfast you head back to Delhi. The trip has come to an end but the fond memory of the place remains.
